Befriend Your Giddiness

Giddiness feels great when you let it flow through you into play and movement. But if you’re not used to feeling giddy, or other people have criticized you for this feeling, you might actually be feeling a little anxious about it. Let’s practice enjoying this feeling so you can allow it to grow into play and movement.

Your Wiggle Warrior® Practice:

First, bounce your shoulders up and down 7 times.

(Really, try it!)

Next, swing your arms like they are made of spaghetti for 10 seconds.

Next, let your whole body show your giddiness by dancing or jumping up and down for 15 seconds.

Next, reach your arms up over your head 5 times.

And to finish, take 3 calming breaths.

Now, let’s get curious:

What sensations do you feel in your body?

Do you feel energized? Tingly?

Like you want to laugh or dance?

What are you noticing?

When giddiness arrives, we normally have a lot of energy to do or say something.

Enjoy your giddiness.

Giddiness grows into creativity, play, and inspired action.

Enjoy it!!
