Befriend Your Uncertainty

Sometimes things happen, and we become unsure about what to do next. You can wiggle your doubt and uncertainty into curiosity and resourcefulness by performing physical activities from the Wiggle Jar! Just scroll down to start your practice.

Your Wiggle Warrior® Practice:

First, reach your hands over your head 5 times.

(Really, try it!)

Next, shrug your shoulders and let out a big sigh.

Next, put your lips together and blow out to make a funny sound.

Next, gently pinch your eyebrows 6 times.

And then to finish, take 5 deep breaths to shrink your uncertainty to the size of a jellybean.

(Turn on the sound and press play.)

Now ask yourself, “What am I unsure about? Is there something that's making me doubt myself? What is it that I need more information about?"

You are brave.

It takes courage to admit doubt.

If you have to make a decision, what questions do you still need answered? Are there any people you can ask for help?

Once you've gathered more information, pay attention to how this information makes you feel. Do you feel peaceful and calm? Or, are you still feeling anxious or unsure? Use your uncertainty to pause... to ask... to listen... and to get really curious about what is needed next.

Your uncertainty is here to help you dig a little deeper, to gather more information, and to trust yourself when something finally feels right. You got this.

Listen to your heart.

And take all the time you need.
