Our Look for the Good® School Program is a two-week, school-wide initiative that helps students and teachers express gratitude for themselves, each other, and the people who matter to them. It helps the community cultivate a sense of belonging and connects kids to safe "sunshine" adults who can support them and also model healthy behavior.

Before we established Look for the Good Project as a 501C3 organization, Anne Kubitsky was running this effort as a public art project. In the first few years (2011 - 2014), she collected thousands of messages from the community to create interactive art installations in public parks, hospitals, hotels, resorts, and colleges. This video was created by students from Rock Hill School in 2013 - right before we established our nonprofit organization. Since then, kids have generated over 2.5 million messages of gratitude to uplift their school communities!

This was by far the most successful school climate initiative I have ever introduced to my building. I have never had such positive feedback from parents, students and staff members. It gave my student leaders a chance to work together to plan and then to see their plan successfully put into action.

Registration For the 2023 - 2024 School Year is Now OPEN!

Since materials are included in the program fee, there are some extra steps we need to take to make sure you get what you need. Because of this, elementary schools must pre-register between now and June 30th to participate during the 2023 - 2024 school year.
