Befriend Your Disgust

Move and breathe to calm your body. Then, make a healthy choice. 


First, put your hands on your belly and take three, deep cleansing breaths.


 Next, shake invisible paint off your hands like you're getting toxic goo off of you.


 Next, spread your arms wide and use your hands to create a protective shield all around you.


 Now, wipe any gross feelings off your shoulders.


 Then put your hands on your heart and tell yourself this: “I trust myself. This icky feeling is here to tell me something is off or not right.”


 And then to finish, take 3 deep breaths to shrink your disgust to the size of a jellybean. Just turn on the sound and press play.


Disgust helps you move away from people and situations that don't feel right. How can you take a step back and say "no"?
